What a phenomenal evening we shared on Wednesday 10th June as the Caerleon 5 Miler returned in spectacular style. We were absolutely delighted to welcome just under 400 runners — making this our biggest event to date — all taking on the challenge of the 5-mile course with determination, enthusiasm and plenty of smiles along the way.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Caerleon’s iconic amphitheatre, the start and finish of the race felt truly special. The stunning historic setting provided a unique and unforgettable stage, creating an atmosphere that elevated the whole event for both runners and spectators alike.
Out on the course, our incredible team of volunteers and marshals brought the race to life, offering encouragement, energy and seamless support at every turn. Back inside the amphitheatre, the fantastic support from spectators created a great atmosphere, with cheers that carried runners all the way to the finish line.
Events like this showcase everything that makes our running community so special — the camaraderie, the passion, and the shared sense of achievement. We are hugely grateful to everyone who took part, volunteered, or came along to cheer — you made this event what it was.

Next year marks the 5th running of the 5 Miler, and we can’t wait to welcome you all back for what promises to be another amazing and memorable event!
