The sixth in the series of the Caerleon RC Virtual Race series was the Pick n Mix Challenge.
Teams of 6 combined to complete, virtually, a series of local races that have either been cancelled or postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The races were The Brecon Lions 10 mile road race, Magor 10K, Newport 5 mile series, Cardiff Race for Victory 5K, Cardiff Summer Series (Race 2) and the Caerleon RC Murder Mile.
It proved to be a really interesting week of racing, with the wise decision appearing to be getting out early in the week, avoiding the heat wave!
It was an extremely close competition with two teams finishing tied at the top on 34 points. However, as stated in the format of the event, in the event of a tie, the winning team would be the team that posted the fastest Murder Mile time.
The winners were Team 8!
