It is our responsibility as a running club to ensure that all members are aware of the location of the nearest defibrillator, should they be required on a club night. It is also a useful resource to know as we go about our every day lives. Below are images of local defibrillators that we are aware of in the Caerleon area. One of the biggest misconceptions about using a defibrillator is that it can be used incorrectly and do more harm than good. This is not the case. From time to time the club will offer members the opportunity to get face to face training in the local community. The St John Ambulance video below is an excellent resource in the first instance.
