WELSH CASTLES RELAYS

WELSH CASTLES RELAYS

The Welsh Castles Relays is a 2 day, 20 stage, 211 mile staggered relay race, held mostly on road but with many hills and mountains on route from Caernarfon to Cardiff with an overnight stay in Newtown, organised by Les Croupiers Running Club Cardiff. Caerleon RC had the honour of taking part in this fantastic event for the first time in 2018. Starting with Team Captain, Jason Pritchard, in Caernafon right through to Rob Bickel leading the team home at Cardiff Castle, 36 hours later, everyone involved agreed it was one of the best running experiences they've ever participated in. We hope this will be a regular fixture in the CRC Calendar for seasons to come. Its a real opportunity for everyone to rub shoulders with some great running clubs from across the UK & Europe.
